The Technology Incubation Centre (TIC) Minna, Niger state has graduated six entrepreneurs from its incubation programme charging graduands to be good ambassadors of the centre in relating with their clients. .
The Centre Manager, Jibrin A Musa, charging the graduates during the 5th graduation ceremony of TIC in Minna said, initially nine incubatees were offered admission by the Board of NBTI into the centre, out of which six successfully completed the programme.
Musa advised the graduates to conduct themselves professionally, continually research, and adjust their business plans to meet the dynamic business environment.
He stated, ” The success of your business lies on the way and manners you conduct yourself and your business plans daily. You need to strategies to meet up with the dynamic nature of business environment. There is the need for you to also continue to nurse and do research about your business and products on daily basis and adjust accordingly”.
Musa noted that TIC Minna was established to harness technology and innovation from potential entrepreneurs, groom them to become contributors to the state’s and nation’s economy.
He highlighted the centre’s achievements, including acquiring and installing a 33kva transformer and connecting to Band A for uninterrupted power supply.
He appreciated the synergy and support of regulatory bodies like NAFDAC, SON, and NEPC in training, capacity building, and product certification as well as expert registration.
Goodwill messages were received from representatives of the Zonal Director of NBTI, SON, NAFDAC, and the Niger State Commissioner of Trade and Investment, including the Director General of SME in Niger State.
They briefed participants on the plans of Governor Mohammed Umar Bago towards developing SMEs in Niger State.
