
The Chief of staff to President Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila has for the first time after media speculation about his rift with presidency began, issued a public statement.
Femi Gbajabiamila, who was the former Speaker of House of Representatives through his Facebook page on 25 December wished Nigerians merry christmas, while urging them to be compassionate to one another and dedicate to praying for the unity and progress of Nigeria especially in the coming year, 2026
“As we celebrate this Christmas, let us cherish the values of community, compassion, and unity. May your holiday be filled with warmth, love, and joy.
Let us also take a moment to pray for our country, seeking peace and prosperity in the year ahead”.
Femi Gbajabiamila released the statement a few minutes after the presidential spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga debunked reports about Femi Gbajabiamila being relieved his position as the chief of staff to the president.
The presidential media aide in the rebuttal, explained that Femi Gbajabiamila still remains the president’s chief of staff while Hakeem Muri-Okunola who the media speculated to have replaced Femi Gbajabiamila as Tinubu’s chief of staff, serves as the president private secretary.
