As the 2027 general election approaches, politicians seeking for election into Gurara, Suleja and Tafa Federal Constituency seat maybe heading for a lost cause following Hon. Haruna Abubakar Arafat Magaji’s interest in the Federal Constituency seat.
This was the submission of APC Chieftain, Hon. Jibrin Yusuf Bala during a chat with Newsmen recently in Suleja Local Government Area of Niger State.
Hon. Bala said that the unlimited influence of Hon. Arafat in Gurara, Suleja and Tafa Federal Constituency which was made possible because of his undiluted Commitment to public service and ” People Oriented Leadership” would make it practically impossible to contest against him during the forthcoming general election.
It will be recalled that for the past 18 years, the people of Gurara, Suleja and Tafa Federal Constituency have suffered poor Leadership and ineffective representation, a narration they are seeking to addressed with the election of Hon. Haruna Abubakar Arafat Magaji during the 2027 general election
Although, the member representing Gurara, Suleja and Tafa Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Rt. Hon Adamu Tanko Lokoja who recently defected to the All Progressives Congress ( APC) from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been doing what can be referred to as “Cosmetic representation” but not convincing enough to guarantee his re-election in the 2027 general election
” All what we want is a Leader like Hon. Haruna Abubakar Arafat Magaji who would leverage on the legislative Instrument to harness the economic potentials in the Federal Constituency for it’s development ” Hon Bala declared.
He however urged people of Gurara, Suleja and Tafa Federal Constituency to rally round Hon.Arafat as his track record has proven him to be a visionary Leader who deserves support of the entire people of Gurara Suleja and Tafa Federal Constituency.

Though the 2027 general election is still some time away, and political maneuvering, including campaigns and endorsements, is actively ongoing as candidates position themselves for their party’s nominations and the general polls.
