The Chairman of the Niger State House of Assembly Service Commission, Hon. Abdullahi Mohammed Dzwafu, has reaffirmed his commitment to the continuous development of the Assembly’s staff.
This commitment was underscored during the official sendoff ceremony of several staff members, including the Former Clerk of the House, Alh. Abdullahi Mohammed Kagara, Deputy Clerk Administration, Alh. Ahmed Musa, Mall. Abubakar Pai, Chief Technician/Sound recordist, Comrade Ndagi Abdulkadir Guroza, HOD Works and Maintenance Department, and Garba Mohammed, Assistant Plumbing Officer.
The ceremony, organized by the Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria (PASAN), Niger State Chapter, took place at the Assembly Complex in Minna. Hon. Abdullahi Mohammed Dzwafu emphasized the importance of capacity building in achieving excellence, highlighting the Commission’s dedication to enhancing the skills and knowledge of its workforce. He assured staff of training and re-training opportunities to enhance their optimal performance.
The Commission Chairman extended warm congratulations to the retired staff, wishing them a peaceful and fulfilling retirement. He prayed for their good health and longevity, acknowledging that retirement marked a new chapter in their lives, filled with opportunities for new pursuits and contributions.
The Clerk of the House, Mall. Farouq Umar Isah, represented by the Deputy Clerk Administration, Alh. Ahmed Mohammed Kabiru Wushishi, commended the retirees for their dedication and service. He expressed gratitude for retiring staff and wished them well in their future endeavors.
The Chairman of PASAN, Comrade Mohammed Sanusi Salis, expressed a mix of sadness and gratitude as he bid farewell to the retiring staff. He appreciated the dedication and service of the Former Clerk of the House, Former Deputy Clerk Administration, and other staff members, noting that their contributions had been invaluable. He assured outgoing staff that a platform would be established for all Niger State House of Assembly retirees and a get-together would be organized in their honor in the near future.
Speaking on behalf of the retirees, Alh. Ahmed Musa expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Chairman, Executive, and Staff of the Assembly for the honors accorded to them. He urged management and staff to maintain their dedication and commitment to the Assembly’s work.
