NSCDC NIGER STATE COMMAND CONDUCTS PASSING OUT CEREMONY FOR OFFICERS AND MEN TRAINED ON BASIC ARMS AND WEAPON HANDLING

The NSCDC Niger State Command, under the leadership of State Commandant Comdt. Adamu Abdullahi Kambra, fcai, fiifs, recently organized a grand passing out ceremony for the 5th batch of officers and men who successfully completed the basic Arms and Weapon Handling course.

According to the commands public relations officer, DSC Abubakar M.R Muti who who made the release available, explain that the ceremony was graced by an array of distinguished guests, including:

– The Executive Governor of Niger State, represented by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Homeland Security, as the Special Guest of Honor

– Commissioner of Solid Minerals

– Commissioner of Works and                         Infrastructure Development

– ACG Zone 4, Shehu Magaji Tunga,               represented by DCC Yakubu A. Ekele

– Retired DCG Cladius Yakubu

– Retired ACG Mohammed Lapai

Representatives of:

Tradoq Commander 31 Artillery                        Brigade Minna

– Commissioner of Police Niger State

– Zonal Controller Federal Fire Service

– Controller Nigeria Customs Service

– Controller Nigeria Correctional                    Service

– Commander 013 Quick Response                 Force, Nigeria Air Force Minna

– Representatives of NLC Chairman                 and TUC.

The ceremony featured a range of impressive displays, including:

– As per crash demonstration

– Rescue from operation and natural            disaster

– Unarmed combat

– Silent drills

– VIP protection

– Tug of war

– Stripping and assembling of both AK           and G3 riffles

The trainees underwent a competition on the AK and G3 riffles for both men and women, with awards given in various categories, including:

– Second runners-up

– First runners-up

– Overall best

– Best male firer

– Best female firer

– Best male in stripping and assembling

– Best female in stripping and assembling

– Best most disciplined trainee

The State Commandant, Comdt. Adamu Abdullahi Kambra, fcai, fiifs, expressed his gratitude to all the dignitaries for attending the 5th passing out ceremony, which was held at the new permanent site of the NSCDC Niger State Command.

The representative of the ACG Zone 4 conveyed the Commandant General’s congratulations to the arm bearers and charged them to uphold the standards of the training acquired and contribute efficiently to the development of the corps.

The passing out ceremony marked a significant milestone in the journey of the officers and men, and it is expected to boost their confidence and competence in handling arms and performing their duties.
