NSCDC NIGER STATE COMMAND APPREHENDS CAR SNATCHING SUSPECT

 

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Niger State Command is pleased to announce the successful arrest of a suspect in connection with a car snatching incident along Tegina Road in Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State.

In a press statement issued by the command’s Public Relations officer, DSC Abubakar Rabiu Muti that on September 6, 2025, at approximately 08:30 pm , our command received credible intelligence from the Tegina Divisional Office regarding a vehicle snatching incident involving three suspects. Swift action was taken, and one of the suspects, (Ibrahim Sule), was apprehended. The stolen vehicle, a (Honda Cross Tower) was recovered.

Preliminary investigations revealed that one of the suspects, (Azi Muazu), allegedly poisoned the driver to gain control of the vehicle. Our command is working diligently to apprehend the remaining two suspects, and we are confident that they will be brought to justice soon.

The NSCDC Niger State Command assures the public that we will leave no stone unturned in ensuring that the suspects face the full wrath of the law. Once investigations are concluded, the suspect will be charged to court for prosecution.

The NSCDC Niger State Command is working closely with other security agencies to ensure crime free society and the Command under my leadership , will ensure thr continuous Protection of Critical National Assets and Infrastructure in Niger State.
