The Senior Special Assistant on Women Mobilization to Niger State Governor Mohammed Umar Bago, Hon. Habibat Lami Isah Lakpena has thrown her weight behind the governor’s re-election bid for the 2027 general election.
According to Hon. Lakpena, in an interview with newsmen in Minna, Bago has demonstrated unparalleled leadership and commitment to the progress and development of Niger State in just two years in office.
Lakpena explained that in just two years the governor has achieved some hence the need for .
She cited the administration’s achievements in infrastructural development, youth empowerment, healthcare, agricultural development, and education sector development as reasons why the governor deserves re-election.
The Governor’s aide stated, ” From infrastructural development to uouths empowerment, and from healthcare, agricultural development to the development of the education sector, the administration has achieved feats that many Governors would have deemed impossible since Niger State was created in 1976″.
The SSA praised Governor Bago for his empathy and unwavering dedication to the development of women in the state, describing him as one of the most impactful governors in Nigeria’s political landscape.
“We are fortunate to have Farmer Governor Mohammed Umar Bago at the helm, and his vision for the state will undoubtedly transform it into a beacon of development and prosperity,” Hon. Lakpena said.
She then called on the electorates to support his re-election campaign as the 2027 general election approaches to enable him further build on various developmental projects across the state which he has started.
