The Secretary to the Government of Niger State (SSG), Alhaji Abubakar Usman, has appealed to the people of the State, calling for calm, unity and sustained support for the administration of Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago, as it intensifies efforts to deliver meaningful development and lasting transformation across the State.
Alhaji Usman in a statement reassured citizens that the present administration remains firmly committed to fulfilling its promises and implementing people-oriented policies and programmes aimed at improving the quality of life of all Nigerlites.
The SSG noted that while the path to sustainable change may come with temporary challenges, the ultimate goal is a stronger, more prosperous and inclusive Niger State.
“The Farmer Governor and his team are working round the clock to reposition the State through strategic investments in agriculture, infrastructure, education, healthcare and other critical sectors,” the SSG stated.
According to Alhaji Usman, “We understand the expectations of our people and we assure them that no effort is being spared in addressing their needs. What we ask in return is patience, cooperation and continued belief in the vision of this administration.”
The SSG further urged residents to actively support Government programmes and policies, emphasizing that development is a collective responsibility that thrives on constructive engagement and mutual understanding. He stressed that unity and peace remain essential ingredients for progress and sustainable growth.
He called on the people of the State to continue praying for divine guidance, wisdom and strength for Governor Bago and his administration. “With unity, faith and perseverance, we will overcome all challenges and usher in a new era of progress, stability and shared prosperity for Niger State,” he said
