NIGER SSG CONDOLES SARKIN ZAZZAU, SULEJA OVER WIFE’S DEMISE

The Secretary to the Government of Niger State (SSG), Alhaji Abubakar Usman has received with deep sorrow the sad news of the passing of Hajiya Rahmatu Awwal Ibrahim, wife of the Sarkin Zazzau, Suleja, Malam Muhammad Awwal Ibrahim, the first civilian Governor of the State, after a protracted illness.

The SSG in his condolence message on behalf of the Government and people of the State, expressed profound grief over the demise of the respected mother and community leader, describing her passing as a painful loss not only to the Suleja Emirate but to the entire State.

Alhaji Usman noted that the late Hajiya Rahmatu lived a life defined by compassion, service, humility and dedication to education, especially through her role as the Proprietress of Rahma School, Suleja, where she contributed tirelessly to the development of young minds and the growth of quality education in the Emirate and beyond.

He further stated that Hajiya Rahmatu’s legacy of kindness, religious devotion and commitment to community upliftment will continue to inspire generations, emphasizing that her contributions to humanity will remain indelible in the hearts of those she touched.

The SSG extended the heartfelt condolences of the Government and people of the State to the Sarkin Zazzau, Suleja and the Suleja Emirate Council, praying that Almighty Allah grant them the strength to bear the irreparable loss.

He added that the State Government stands in solidarity with the Emirate and all those affected by this great loss during this period of mourning.

Alhaji Usman Government prays that Allah (SWT) forgive her shortcomings, illuminate her grave and grant her Aljannatul-Firdaus.
