A NEW LAVUN POSSIBLE

Following the alleged poor representation of the Niger South Senatorial District at the National Assembly, electorates from the Senatorial Zone have decided to throw their weight behind the re-election of Senator Muhammad Bima Enagi in the forthcoming 2027 general election.
This is coming on the heels of the clamour and cries of the masses on the absence of Senator Muhammad Bima Enagi.
Mallam Alkali Yabagi reveals this in chat with Journalist in Bida, Niger State recently.
Mal. Alkali said that the Niger South during the 2023 general election elected Senator Peter Ndaalikali as their representative at the upper chamber against the incumbent Senator, Muhammad Bima Enagi, hoping to get it better under him ” but they were wrong.”
According to him, communities and electorate were currently regretting over the way and manners in which the present Senator ( Peter Ndaalikali) handles the affairs of the Zone at the Senate.
He maintained that Senator Peter Ndaalikali has remained elusive in the Senate , while hope for constituency projects remains a mirage under his representation.
“It is actually regrettable losing Muhammad Bima Enagi as a Senator because he did not run away from his people or constituency, visible and active at the Senate.” Mal. Alkali declared.
He however disclosed that all hope is not lost as Niger South stakeholders currently settled for Senator Bima again in view of his performance and track record of his achievements within 4 years as a Senator representing the Senatorial Zone.
Alkali said “It is on record that Senator Muhammad Bima Enagi has fourteen (14) bills and (4) motions to his credit within 4 years (2019-2023) as a Senator representing the Niger South.”
It could be recalled that Senator Bima sponsored a Bill tagged “National Animal Identification Control ” which eventually became guide line for President Tinubu’s Livestock. Ministry
Furthermore, Senator Muhammad Bima Enagi facilitated the establishment of constituency projects which spread across the 88 wards in the Niger South Senatorial District.
The project includes 3 National Open Universities situated in KATCHA, LAVUN and EDATI LOCAL AREAS., 100 BEDS GENERAL HOSPITAL in EDATI LOCAL GOVERNMENT, Skills Acquisition Centres, ICT centres standard drainage facilities, Pump water supply, construction of blocks of classroom in different secondary schools in his days at the Senate.
