The Niger State Government has announce an 8-day Executive Retreat designed for Commissioners-Designate, Chairmen-Elect and their Deputies, Special Advisers and Permanent Secretaries of the State.
The Retreat is scheduled to commence on Wednesday, 3rd December, 2025 at Hauwa Isah Wali Multi-Purpose Hall, Government House, Minna by 10:00 A.M prompt
This high-level retreat forms part of the administration’s commitment to deepening governance reforms, strengthening institutional capacity and aligning all incoming political and administrative office holders with the policy direction, development blueprint and transformative agenda of the present administration.
Special Guest of Honour is His Excellency, Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago, Executive Governor of Niger State while the Royal Father of the Day is His Royal Highness, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, CFR, Etsu Nupe and Chairman, Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers.
The Retreat will expose participants to best practices in governance, public service ethics and leadership excellence
Government emphasized that participation in the Retreat is mandatory for all designated participants, as it marks the official onboarding process that will prepare them for the responsibilities ahead.
