The appointment of Obed Nuhu Nana as Commissioner Nominee by Farmer Governor Mohammed Umar Bago has been praised by analysts, who believe it will boost the state’s development efforts especially to realization of the “New Niger”.
They said Nana, a seasoned journalist and communicator will brings a wealth of experience to the role.
BACKGROUND :
Born on May 14, 1970, in Abuja, Nana holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and a Master’s degree in Public Administration.
He has had a distinguished career, serving as a lecturer at Abuja Polytechnic from 2000 to 2022 and as a news caster, presenter, and reporter with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).
NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS:
—Director General, Speech Writing Unit at the Government House (2015-2019).
—Coordinator, Speech Writer to the Governor of Niger State (2020-2023).
—Aide to late Senator Dahiru Awaisu Kuta
