Commissioner of Information and Strategy, Niger State, Hon. Binta Mamman, has felicitated with His Excellency, Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago, and the entire Muslim community on the occasion of Eid El Kabir.
In a Sallah message signed by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Dr. Uthman Baba Agaie, the Commissioner emphasised the significance of Eid El Kabir as a time to offer sacrifices to Allah, following the example of Prophet Ibrahim (A.S).
She highlighted that this festival represents values such as faith, love, obedience, patience, and worship.
“As we celebrate this special day, let us remember the sacrifices of Prophet Ibrahim (A.S) and his willingness to surrender to the will of Allah. May his example inspire us to greater heights of faith, obedience, and selflessness,” Hon. Binta Mamman said.
The Commissioner urged Muslims and the entire Nigerlites to reflect on the importance of curbing circulation of unverified, misleading and fake news, noting that the Prophet’s willingness to sacrifice his son was a testament to his commitment to the well-being of future generations.
The Chief Information Officer of Niger State further urged Muslims and all citizens to reflect on the importance of sacrifice and humility, promoting harmonious relationships that foster unity, peace, progress, and development in the state and the nation as a whole.
She reaffirmed Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago’s dedication to the New Niger Agenda and driving transformative development across all sectors in Niger State.
Hon. Binta Mamman called upon the people of Niger State to collaborate with the Farmer Governor in achieving rapid growth and significant progress.
The Commissioner wished the Muslim community a joyous Eid Ul-Adha, and prayed for peace, prosperity, and progress in the state.
