The Speaker of the Niger State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Barr. Abdulmalik Mohammed Sarkin-Daji, extends his heartfelt greetings to the Muslim Ummah in Niger State and beyond on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir. On behalf of the leadership and members of the 10th Assembly, Barr. Sarkin-Daji felicitates with Muslims, wishing them a joyous celebration filled with peace, love, and happiness.

 

This significant occasion, which commemorates Prophet Ibrahim’s unwavering faith and willingness to sacrifice his son in obedience to Allah, serves as a reminder of the importance of sacrifice, compassion, and kindness.

 

The Speaker commends the resilience and devotion of Muslims in Niger State, who continue to uphold the values of their faith amidst the challenges of daily life.

 

As we celebrate this joyous occasion, the Speaker takes a moment to reflect on the recent tragic events in Mokwa Local Government Area, where lives were lost and property was destroyed due to flooding.

 

In this moment of Eid-el-Kabir, he reaffirms the Assembly’s commitment to supporting the affected communities and working towards mitigating the impact of such disasters in the future.

 

Barr. Sarkin-Daji commends the efforts of Farmer Governor Mohammed Umar Bago’s administration for his visionary New Niger Agenda aimed at improving the well-being of the people of Niger State.

 

The Speaker assures Nigerlites that the 10th Assembly will continue to work tirelessly to support the Governor’s initiatives and legislative priorities that benefit the state and its people.

 

As Muslims across Niger State and beyond celebrate this joyous occasion, the Niger State House of Assembly remains committed to serving the people and advancing the development of the state.
