As the build-up to the 2027 general elections gathers momentum, an All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Assembly aspirant for Chanchaga Local Government Constituency, Dr. Yakubu Ibrahim, has pledged to provide robust representation and legislative innovation if elected.
Dr. Ibrahim made the promise while speaking with newsmen in Minna, stressing the need to deploy legislative instruments to address the numerous development challenges confronting Chanchaga Local Government.
According to him, many of the problems affecting the constituency could have been resolved if elected lawmakers had championed the interests of the people by sponsoring people-oriented bills.

The APC aspirant assured that, if given the mandate, he would sponsor bills and initiate policies aimed at improving the well-being of residents and creating better opportunities for people in the constituency.
He also promised to improve the lives of constituents through periodic empowerment programmes and sustained engagement with people at the grassroots.
Dr. Ibrahim added that his legislative agenda would focus on human capital development, skills acquisition and the improvement of both formal and informal education systems.
He further disclosed plans to introduce programmes that would serve as a test of the executive’s willingness to align with policies and bills that directly address the needs of citizens.
The House of Assembly hopeful said his goal is to set a benchmark in lawmaking that would stand out in the annals of the Niger State House of Assembly.
