The Management of Minna Institute of Technology and Innovation (MITI) has congratulated the Niger State Governor, Farmer Mohammed Umar Bago on the occasion of 50th Anniversary of Niger State .
“In his Congratulatory message to commemorate the anniversary, the Rector of Minna Institute for Technology and Innovation (MITI), Engr. Dr. Mohammed Liman Yerima, praised the Farmer Governor Bago, describing Niger State under his Leadership as a beacon of stability, development and a leading destination for Agricultural Investment.”
He noted that the anniversary offered an opportunity for”introspection, gratitude and rededication to the noble ideals that have shaped the State’s history.
“Over the past five decades, Niger State has produced remarkable individuals as Leaders, but the contribution of Farmer Governor Mohammed Umar Bago in less than 3 years has strategically repositioned the State for greatness”.
As we celebrate Niger at 50, it is imperative that we do not forget the Labours of our heroes past. There were Men and Women who saw tomorrow when others did not, visionaries who conceived the idea of Niger State and champions who carried the burden of advocacy.
The Rector however expressed optimism that, with the current commitment to good Governance shown by Farmer Governor Mohammed Umar Bago’s administration, Niger State would reach a greater heights in the years ahead
