AIG COMMISSIONS PCRC-BUILT MAIN ENTRANCE GATE AT ZONE 7 POLICE HQ

The Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 7 Headquarters, Abuja, AIG Victor Olaiya, represented by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zonal CID, DCP Oluyemi Ajayi, has commissioned the newly constructed Main Entrance Gate and Security Post at the Zone 7 Police Headquarters, Abuja.

The project was carried out by the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) as part of its ongoing support to the Nigeria Police Force and its commitment to strengthening police–community relations.

During the commissioning, the AIG praised the PCRC for its support and dedication to improving police infrastructure. He noted that the new gate and security post would enhance security, access control, and the overall appearance of the headquarters.

The National Chairman of the PCRC, Alhaji Mogaji Olaniyan, said the project demonstrates the Committee’s commitment to building safer communities and promoting trust between the Police and the public.

The Zone 7 PCRC Chairman, Chief Otunba Bolaji Adigun, also appreciated the contributions of all members and departments whose efforts ensured the successful completion of the project.

The event was attended by senior police officers, national and zonal PCRC executives, stakeholders, and invited guests. The ceremony ended with the official commissioning of the facility for use.

The newly commissioned gate and security post highlight the strong partnership between the Nigeria Police Force and the PCRC in promoting security and professionalism.
