
A House of Representatives aspirant for Lavun, Edati, and Mokwa Federal Constituency, Hon. Alhassan Adamu Sonfada has pledged to partner with agencies and international organizations to train over 10,000 youths in digital skills, agribusiness, and entrepreneurship if elected in the 2027 general election.
Speaking with newsmen in Minna, Sonfada emphasized on the importance of investing in the youth population, stating that over 60% of the population are young people and it’s crucial to harness their potential.
Sonfada promised to launch skills acquisition and entrepreneurship training programs aligned with the National Skills Framework, enabling youths to compete globally.
He assured the people of Lavun, Edati, and Mokwa Federal Constituency that his programs will unlock the creative, entrepreneurial, and intellectual potential of the youth, shifting focus from managing unemployment to creating opportunities.
“An advantage unrealised is merely a potential waste,” he said, adding that his initiative aims to equip youths with valuable skills to thrive in the global economy.
