As troops intensify coordinated operations across the North-West region of the country, the Nigerian Defence Headquarters has revealed that the Notorious Bandit kingpin, Bello Turji, is currently on the run and struggling to evade being capture.
According to the Defence Headquarter, sustained ground and aerial assaults have significantly disrupted the activities of armed bandit groups, placing Bello Turji under intense pressure and forcing him to flee repeatedly in a bid to escape elimination.
“The ongoing operations have degraded the command structure and logistics of Turji’s network, leaving him in a precarious situation as security forces tighten the noose around criminal elements operating in the region”. Military authority declared
The Nigerian Army however reassured their resolve to sustain the offensive until lasting peace is restored in the North-West, assuring citizens that all necessary measures are being deployed to dismantle remaining bandit enclaves.
The people of North West were again encouraged to support security efforts by sharing actionable intelligence that could help bring an end to banditry and related crimes in the region.
