Rivers State political landscape is witnessing another major shake-up as four members of the House of Representatives have officially moved from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
This development is taking place shortly after the Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara’s recent move to the ruling party, signaling what many observers see as a broader realignment of political forces within the state.
The lawmakers who announced their defection represent key federal constituencies which includes Port Harcourt, Ikwerre/Emuoha, Andoni/Opobo, and Asari-Toru.
Political analysts believe these moves could significantly influence future elections and power structures in the state, especially as parties begin positioning ahead of upcoming political contests.
