PRIORITIZE NON- KINETIC APPROACHES TO ADDRESS INSECURITY, FULANI GROUP APPEALS TO DEFENCE MINISTER

A prominent Fulani socio-cultural organisation, Kulen Allah Cattle Rearers Association of Nigeria (KACRAN) has appealed to the  Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (rtd), to champion peaceful and non-violent strategies in tackling the nation’s security challenges.

The National President of the group, Khalil Mohammed Bello in a Statement issued on Thursday urged the minister to draw from his extensive military expertise  not only in combat operations but also in peacebuilding  to restore confidence, stability, and national unity before October 2026.

Bello however maintained that safeguarding the country is a collective duty, calling on security agencies, traditional institutions, political leaders, and citizens to work in synergy with the Defence Ministry.

He noted that KACRAN remains fully committed to supporting every initiative aimed at promoting peaceful coexistence and strengthening trust among communities nationwide.
