
Former special advisor on special duties to the Niger State Governor, Doctor Murtala Muhammad Bagana has been sworn in as the new Commissioner for Health Niger state.
The confirmation of portfolio was made known in a press release by the state government after the swearing in ceremony which took place on Friday at the state government house in Minna.
Doctor Bagana being the only doctor amongst the 30 shortlisted commissioners, made it clear to Nigerlite he will emerged as the new Commissioner for Health.
Earlier speaking to Rillex TV after his admission of oath of office, the doctor had rolled out his policies, which stated that his major policy was making Niger state health sector a unitary health system.
He also state that as Commissioner for Health, the health sector will be revamp.
The doctor is set to commence work at the ministry once he resumes office with activities already streamed line such as internal retreats for senior staff of the ministries amongst others
