
The 8-day Executive Retreat for Commissioners-Designate, Chairmen-Elect and their Deputies, Special Advisers, and Permanent Secretaries entered its fourth day today, Saturday, 6th November 2025, at the Hauwa Isah Wali Multi-Purpose Hall, Government House, Minna.
Participants were exposed to high-level presentations from seasoned professionals across key sectors of governance.

Dr. Ezekiel Gomos, former Secretary to the Government of Plateau State, delivered a session on Ethics, Civil Service Rules and Public Service, stressing integrity, discipline, and adherence to due process as essential pillars of effective public administration.
Prof. Hamza Abdullahi Yusuf facilitated a session on Leadership and Team Management, highlighting strategic thinking, collaboration, and efficient team coordination as drivers of institutional performance.
Barr. Mohammed Abdulkadir spoke on Anti-Corruption and Due Process, reiterating the need for transparency, accountability, and strict compliance with procurement and financial regulations.

The Secretary to the Government of Niger State (SSG), Alhaji Abubakar Usman, has commended the resource persons who delivered presentations on the fourth day of the ongoing 8-day Executive Retreat.
The SSG appreciated the quality of insights shared by the Speakers and noted that their contributions will significantly strengthen the capacity and preparedness of the incoming Government officials for effective service delivery.
The retreat continues to equip participants with the skills and knowledge required to deliver on the administration’s commitment to efficient service delivery and good governance.
