The Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) says it’s capable of defeating the ruling All Progressives Congress in the forthcoming 2027 general election.
The Niger State PDP Secretary , Hamidu A. A Kadi-Kuta disclosed this during a chat with Newsmen recently in Minna the State capital.
He said although PDP is presently undergoing reforms but remains the only party with organic massive grassroot supporters across the Country.
He noted that during its time in Government, PDP positively impacted lives even to the remotest part of the Country.
This he said prompted Nigerians especially Nigerlites to be eager for the return of PDP as evident in the rising of public interest in party affairs.
The Niger PDP Secretary described APC as a ” bad market” that would not survive the 2027 general election.
According to him, no patriotic Nigerian would support a Party like APC which is synonymous to hunger , Hardship and Insecurity.
Responding to the recent defection, he stated that the PDP true Strength lies with the masses at the grassroots not few leaders who left.
” While the Leaders are important, followers defines a party . Our grassroots supporters across the Country are firmly with PDP”. Hamidu declared
On the forthcoming Council election, Hamidu Kadi -Kuta said he is confident of PDP victory if the State Independent Electoral Commission ( SIEC) did not manipulate the outcome of election across the Local Government Areas of the State.
He said that Nigerlites are tired of clueless APC administration and they have assured him of firing the first missile of rejection during the forthcoming Council election.
